Hello and welcome. My name is Melanie and I am a Registered Professional Counsellor candidate with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association. I provide a warm, welcoming, and safe space for clients to express and move towards their therapeutic goals. The space I offer is inclusive, non-judgmental and anchored in compassion and presence. My approach is both collaborative and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. I have a heartfelt interest and additional training in somatic and body-based therapies which incorporates mindfulness practices, breathwork and movement with an emphasis on nervous system regulation. I work with people navigating a range of life experiences including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, developmental trauma, grief, self-esteem and existential concerns of meaning and purpose. I work from a trauma informed lens that focuses on client consent and personal agency. I honour the strengths, expertise and resilience of my clients to help facilitate the creation of space for healing and connection.
