We are honoured to bring you a list of our graduates who have chosen to list their services on our Alumni Directory. All of our graduates have received significant training to help them become professional coaches and counsellors. Directory listing does not guarantee their ability to help every individual and Rhodes Wellness College does not guarantee the work of every graduate. We always urge potential clients to find the best counsellors and coaches that work for their unique situations.
Mary Chipman is a wellness coach specializing in helping women find their inner joy and live it out in the world with creativity, health, joy, and purpose. She is certified as a life coach by Rhodes Wellness College and also has a Mental Health First Aid Certificate from The Mental Health Commission of Canada. Mary’s passion for mental and physical wellness began early in life, as a reaction to losing her mother and father to illness when she was 15 and 29 respectively, and progressed as she raised her own family with a focus on science-based healthy living. Mary is passionate about fitness, nutrition, feminine power, and learning how neuroscience and neuroplasticity relate to mental health. Mary became a coach as a result of her own journey of self-discovery, realizing that her true vocation is to help women over 50 live life fully on their own terms, and answer the question that many face in times of transition: “Now what?” Her company, Paloma Life Wellness, also focuses on creativity to expand mental resilience and agility, innovation, and self-expression. Recognizing that many women have sacrificed play over a lifetime of serving others, Mary has developed ‘playshops’, opportunities for women to gather in a non-judgmental, fun environment to explore their creativity, and discover the excitement and freedom of playing. Mary lives in Vancouver, Canada with her husband and has two adult children, Jasmine and Alexander, and a grandson. Areas of Specialization: I am located in Kitsilano, Vancouver, and offer one-on-one coaching, either online or in person. I am also open to small group coaching, if goals and values are aligned. I love working with women in mid-life who want to reclaim their mental and physical health by overcoming their limiting beliefs, fears, stories, feelings of ‘not enoughness’ and uncomfortable comfort zones. Nothing is more exciting than seeing women claim their light and power, find their freedom and zest for life, and live authentically, in joy. I am launching in-person playshops for a maximum of six women at a time. Playshops are fun, inspiring, and creative classes to discover and ignite your playful self, spark innovation and self-expression through painting, spoken word, storytelling, movement, etc. in a mutually supportive, and safe environment. We’ll approach all aspects of creativity with curiosity, a willingness to break rules, and a delight in trying new activities without any expectations and while embracing mistakes. Mary Chipman
