Rhodes Alumni Counsellor & Life Coach Directory

We are honoured to bring you a list of our graduates who have chosen to list their services on our Alumni Directory. All of our graduates have received significant training to help them become professional coaches and counsellors. Directory listing does not guarantee their ability to help every individual and Rhodes Wellness College does not guarantee the work of every graduate. We always urge potential clients to find the best counsellors and coaches that work for their unique situations.

Biography

I hold a Masters Degree in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University and am a Certified Life Coach, Rhodes Wellness College.

I enjoy giving back to my community and have spent many years volunteering in Hospice with our therapy dogs and in our local NICU as a baby cuddler.

As a mom, career woman, mompreneur, business owner, local hospice and NICU volunteer, and even a TED talk speaker, I have always followed my heart’s desires with a strategic focus. It’s worth mentioning that all of these ventures initially scared me, resulting in heart-pounding fear and clammy hands.

I have lived a life of truth, accountability, and relentless achievement, and I am passionate about helping others do the same.

Welcome to Shescapes Women’s Wellness, where empowerment and self-discovery take center stage. Founded in 2019 by Karen Klein, a certified life and wellness coach, our mission is to provide a sanctuary for women seeking balance, clarity, and rejuvenation. Shescapes is not just a place; it’s a transformative experience designed to help you reconnect with your authentic self, rediscover your passions, and live a life filled with purpose and joy.

Hi, my name is Karen Klein, and I am a certified Life Coach. I created Shescapes Women’s Wellness because, to be honest, it started with my own personal journey. Shescapes became something I desperately needed in my life. As a busy working mom, I found myself overwhelmed, stuck, unhappy, and disconnected from my true self. I was experiencing more blue days than bright ones and was mentally and emotionally exhausted. It felt like I was just going through the motions, leaving my true self behind.

Then, the pandemic hit, and I noticed the same struggles all around me, affecting my tribe of sisters. I realized we all needed more time for ourselves, self-love, self-care, fun, honesty, boundaries, authenticity, and gratitude. We needed better support to find balance and clarity in our lives.

Shescapes became the space where we could unite, reconnect, and do the inner work to feel like our true selves again. It allowed us to rediscover our passions and the things we loved.

Throughout the years, we have successfully guided women through various life phases, including becoming new mothers, returning to university as adults, professional and personal development, conflict resolution, building self-esteem and self-confidence, and navigating relationships, among other areas.

From my experience, I’ve observed that many people know the “what” they want in life. They often frame it as, “I will be happy when…” However, what they struggle with is identifying the “how,” “why,” and “when.”

Make Shescapes your new place to reset, restore, and revive yourself. Located in South Surrey/White Rock, we offer a range of individual and group services, both in-person and virtually, locally and in other locations. Join us to find your way back to your authentic self, discover what brings you joy, and reconnect with your true self.
