Rhodes Alumni Counsellor & Life Coach Directory

We are honoured to bring you a list of our graduates who have chosen to list their services on our Alumni Directory. All of our graduates have received significant training to help them become professional coaches and counsellors. Directory listing does not guarantee their ability to help every individual and Rhodes Wellness College does not guarantee the work of every graduate. We always urge potential clients to find the best counsellors and coaches that work for their unique situations.

Biography

Hello, I’m Corinna,

I have personally struggled with anxiety, grief and trauma and understand how difficult it can be. I chose to be a counsellor because I was able to make it through the most difficult times in my life which included the death of my younger brother after a lifelong battle with kidney disease and a car accident that left me with chronic pain for many years. My experiences have given me perspective and empathy for others. I draw not just on my training but also on my experiences as a human. Often the messages we receive from the world are ones that invalidate our hardship. Counselling can help us to create our own beliefs and choices around our situations and move forward with compassion for ourselves and what we have been through. It can help us to process the pain we are in and to create capacity to live the lives we have imagined for ourselves.

I have a cat and she tends to make appearances in my online sessions. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. I offer a complimentary consultation so we can meet and chat to see if we are well suited to work together.

Areas of Specialization: I currently live in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia and offer counselling sessions online. My areas of focus are grief, trauma and anxiety. I take a trauma -informed approach tailoring my sessions to suit my client’s needs and asking for feedback to make sure that the tools and methods are helpful for them. I use the therapies CBT, Somatic Therapy, Narrative Therapy and a trauma processing modality called the Integrated Trauma and Attachment Model. (ITATM)
