Part-Time Faculty at Rhodes Wellness College

Our Part-time faculty have been part of the fabric that makes our part-time instruction every bit as good
as our full-time instruction. Our students just have more time between classes and typically are taking
part-time courses while juggling other full-time duties in parenting, working, or other educational
pursuit and hobbies. Part-time students can be confident that we choose our part-time faculty carefully.
They are not just adjunct faculty. These are wellness professionals who are phenomenally talented in
their professions, and they are teaching at Rhodes Wellness College because helping students in this
capacity brings joy to them. We are grateful for their contribution to our students and our college
community.

Marie has been a Bodywork Therapist since 2005 and has created a practice called Bodywork Coaching. Clients experience profound shifts by making connections between their body and mind. Marie structures these in person, one-one-one client sessions to begin with spacious, verbal coaching where the skills learned from the Life Coach Program are incorporated. Marie invites the client's body to support their goals through bodywork therapy, restorative yoga and somatic practices. To conclude the session, Marie verbally checks in to ensure the client feels supported and that their intention for the session has been met. Each session is completely unique and Marie is honoured and delighted to witness the process. Marie has a lovely family: a husband and young son. Together, they camp and play in lakes every time the opportunity allows.
